Does anybody know what this stands for? I think it means - 15 Men on a Dead man's Chest

It does appear a logical answer, although I've never seen the abbreviation before. The phrase is a line from an old sea shanty, I'm fairly sure it's sung by Long John Silver in 'Treasure Island', and it refers to a dead sailor's sea chest - the box in which sailors kept their worldly posessions, and which would hopefully float and provide an improvised life raft if the ship sank.
