New tampax skirt

I was so curious I hit on the advert.
Now I am a women but I can not for the life of me think what the f...k the skirt is all about. Please let me know, otherwise I will have to buy the damn thing, which given I have had my hysterical removed seems a bit OTT

I use a Mooncup myself so wont be buying ay skirt fitted tampons LOL
I am thinking that the skirt flairs out at the bottom therefore catching any leakage? Gross and waaay TMI LOL
