Hair colour

I have naturally very light blonde hair and blue eyes, with pale skin tha never tans. Both my parents are blonde as is my brother. My boyfriend has brown hair and skin than tans easily. Can anybody tell us what colour hair our children would have?

you can never predict these things with certainty. There are rules about genes that suggest what the result is likeliest to be; but you never know when some rogue gene from a long-forgotten great-great-grandmother with a shady past is going to pop up and change things.

i will be in the same situation as i have very fair skin that takes ages and ages to tan, natural blonde hair and lots of freckles, my fiance has dark hair and he tans easily.

i will say though that my mum has dark hair and tans easily and my dad fair skin and blonde hair so in that sense i take after my dad and my brother takes after my mum, my fiance takes after his dad who has dark hair tans easily where his sister doesnt neither does his mum so it's the luck of the draw

If you're mum's brother's bald or if your brother goes bald then the chances are you're kids will go bald as baldness is passed down the woman's line. Don't know about colour though although my step mum's blond and all her kids are blonde. I bet you have highlights anyway! What a blonde question!

Thats right Corrine, as an expectant mother, sometimes you wonder what your unborn child will look like, I should imagine most people do it. It was a question out of interest, not something I want to post on mastermind
