i just discovered through a hpi check i did that the car i have on finance is a export but i wasnt told this when i brought it

As long as it is UK spec it shouldn't make any difference. If the car is very new then a dealer may try to offer you less if you want to trade it in. but this becomes unimportant after a few years. I wouldn't think it will be a problem. I think the dealer should have mentioned it though (although they don't!)

yeah its an import and only found out coz wen i contacted the main dealership to claim off renault its bin made claer that renault uk wont stand by it as its a holland import on uk plates
i wasnt told its a import wen i brought it and do i have the rite now to say i dot want it coz of the conditions of the sale

If it's an import it should state it on the V5.How long have you had the car?
