I have asked the questions listened to the advice and reported the man....what part of that have you not read............The bits that you are referring to as me becoming annoying is due to people attacking me .... I have defended myself no more no less..... Now I will say again ..... I have only to worry about what happens tonight when they go round to his house.... and the consequences of my telling the police
Id rather tell the police that i felt in danger and explain why, than have to explain to someone why their daughter was raped or abused by someone i wouldnt even trust with my own child.
surely as a mother you should be prepared to put up with what may happen now to protect your children. You said you never leave your daughter alone with him but theres always the chance she could be alone sometime.
If you tell the police then they will keep an eye on you and your house if there is any chance he will retaliate.

i do not believe i am attacking you, i have read it all and the only thing i find important is the fact you know this man is jerking off to pictures naked/semi naked girls, he has also asked to be alone with your daughter who is also underage, now u asked a question of should i report him or am i being melodramatic. does this constitute child porm?
so the answer to that question is yes i would class that as child porn and him asking you to be alone with yr daughter is a damn sure thing he would do more than just look at pics. you said you've reported him so there is no point in this post anymore there is a button at the top saying you can close a question if you think it has been answered if u dont like what we are writing now do that

Like i said earlier the guy has knocked me about and i had him arrested for it..... He told them i was a liar and self harmer........He was bailed to the same address i was living at........Now he has done things and said things..... Its my word against his............ He put my windows through before.... The police did nothing...... They had no proof.... If i am lucky then.....they will go round take his comp and mp3 player and find what i have told them...... If not then well who knows.... Maybe i will get away with wasting police time and a few broken windows
Hang in there kiya. Take no notice of all these giving you grief on here.
What your doing is right. it takes a lot of guts to go through with something like that.
You asked a question that you already knew the answer to, and i think all you wanted really was a little nudge to give you some courage.
Keep me posted on what happens...

Given the behaviours you describe, it would be expected that this man has also worked hard to try and disempower you, make you unsure of yourself and feel he is all controlling and powerful. By reporting him you have taken a huge step in addressing this power inbalance. However that is not to underestimate the potential for real physical intimidation. The police as the only ones to really respond to this risk.
good luck

youve done the right thing kiya. though i would've gone and spoke to a solicitor first and then got them to make the call. youre a strong woman.
at the end of the day its about protecting children. and even if hes not doing anything illegal the police will have his card marked for the future.
and, if here is the only support youve got then im sure the members will stick with you. the internet is an amazing resource. and ruby is right. the group here, if its all youve got, will help you address the power inbalance.

Kiya, further to all the supportive answers above, I would like to add that it sounds suspiciously like this guy has been friendly with you simply to get close to your children. Paedophiles often engineer relationships with women (or men) simply to be allowed to groom the children un-monitored. You have been brave through this ordeal but I would also recommend that you talk to your children and clarify your position regarding this man; that is to say that he will not be allowed to be friends with you or them anymore. I am glad you say you have never allowed him to be alone with your children; although this suggests to me that you may have subconciously recognised the danger represented by this man. Act now, act quickly and report him so that this sick person does not get the chance to move on to another unsuspecting family.
