I have a CD that I cracked by mistake (sat on it!) I am not able to get a duplicate of it - is there any way to repair the one I've got & keep using it?

I think cracked CDs are beyond repair, see here if you want to try this

The problem is that by putting it into a PC drive it may actually shatter and break the drive too.

dont put it in a cd drive anywhere
i did once to a cracked one- what a mess,it did shatter luckily, and only just i saved the drive
