my screen views on the internet and my desktop are very small text and icons can any one tell me how to adjust please? coald it be my graphics card?

you could go to View then Text Size to make the text bigger

ive tried that but its not working

assuming your on xp:

start=>control panel=>appearance and settings=>display=>settings

from here change the resolution using the sliding bar

could the internet problem be java at all cos ive formatted my pc but it was fine before

try what boobesque says
i think its your resolution drop it down one or two steps
the higher it is the smaller your icons become
