Following ETHEL's advice toanother ABer.
I downloaded the above ok.
I clicked on my Adobe icon to delete it,and it tells me to
go to Add/Remove,but it's not listed.Where can I find
it to delete it,also is it advisable to delete it now?

There is no need to remove Adobe but good instructions here to remove it manually:

If it is not causing any problems, you can leave it where it is, but set foxit as the default pdf reader when asked - probably next time you open a pdf file.

Thanks for that ETHEL.The manual method is too much
for me i'm afraid.I'm on Adobe 7.as well.
I clicked on a survey on AB. this pm.and Adobe caused
a problem re MacroMedia (I think) and had to send an
error report,and re-boot.
That's the reason I wanted to get rid.of it.
