It takes a day or two to set up. you email them , they email you back. you register, using the details they send you.

Then you have to set up a login name and password.

I downloaded Empathy. a 90 minute programme in 45 minutes, but the next programme I tried to download took forever and I had to give up. Apparently it will improve as more people sign up.

Its all free as far as I can see, but it's deleted after a certain number of days, for Empathy its seven days, I did also dowload University Challenge which apparently is okay for 28 days!

I don't know if they check that you've got a TV licence, and you've got to be in the UK.

I've just gone back and checked - No, they don't ask for a name and address, just an email, so they can't check whether you've got a TV licence.
