pakistani wedding

me and my partner are going to my friends wedding.she is pakistani but we areny.does anyone have any ideas on what i could wear because i know that pakistani women have to cover up.

Why don't you ask your friend what the accepted dress code is? I'm sure she'd understand your concerns and would be happy to advise.

Are you sure that Pakistani women have to cover up at weddings?
Is the groom Pakistani also? Are they going for a traditional Muslim or Hindu style wedding? I suggest you wear what you would normally wear for a wedding, and don't worry about causing offence.

I agree with billsticker, wear a suitable attire what you'd usually wear to any wedding. If they had their wedding in Pakistan it would be polite for you to cover up, but in UK it would be rude to expect non-muslims to cover up.
