Hair troubles!!

I had my hair dyed an it has started to grow out now quite a lot and i think that part of it was bleached! i wanted to know that if i dyed my hair blonde now using the dyes from a shop would the part tha is bleached go a funny colour?

If you put harpic on it its bound to go a funny colour!

It probably would. You need to be careful with dyes that contain a lot of bleach as re-dying can often turn your hair a horrible colour (hence you get a lot of peroxides with 'green' tinges to their hair).

Your roots will probably take the dye a lot quicker than the rest of the hair too, which means you'll end up with different shades as it grows out.

You ideally should use the same colour as before. If that's not an option then buy a home kit and do a strand test first to see the colour difference. You may be okay, but it's worth doing the trial run first.
