does anyone know the formula for making brass turn to a verdigris (greenish/blue) finish?

I think it involves making a paste of vinegar & baking soda but not sure... thanks

That suggested mix is used for cleaning brass to get the shine back.
Remember gents public toilets that had brass and copper fittings? And how quickly those corroded unless polished every day? Soak it in urine! Then, for a really ancient appearance, bury it in the garden for a few weeks!

2. Put mixture on brass.
3. Stand downwind.
