Both Sainsbury's and Asda sell wheat free products, one of the lines is called freefrom think this is sainsbury's. Includes bread, pasta, cake, biccys and various other items
I am a Tesco stock control bod and we do most of that stuff (in the bigger stores mind)
Hi There,
Out of all of them I've tried, the best one is Tru Free pasta.
You can get it at Tescos. And Waitrose. And online.

Dietry Specials does a fair enough bread. Best toasted :)
They do biscuts too.

If you have a spare hour or so?......
Bake your own biscuts and cakes. Much healthier, and no hydrogenated fats :) and they always taste a million times better.....

Rice pasta tastes no difference in my opinion. I don't eat it because I don't have issues with wheat.

It is available in most Supermarkets.
Most supermarkets will have a section for this. I have never come across wheat free spaghetti though. I think you can get the tinned variety in Holland and Barrett- ie- in tomato sauce. H&B do a lot of wheat free stuff- more than supermarkets. Check out their freezer too! Wheat free bread tends to be gross, you are better off buying the German rye bread. Toasted it is nice with honey! Untoasted it is bearable but a bit like eating a cork mat. Get some oat cakes and rice cakes. Also Ryvita make one type with no wheat. Also you can now get quite a lot of oat-based cereals. Wheat -free is more fashionable than ever!
I personally cannot eat oats either. Or Rye.

Have you been through intolerance and allergy testing pahun?

I am on a strict wheat free diet due to Crohns and M.S. Have been for years.

Why anyone would want such a diseases for fashion is beyond me.
beryllium, I wasn't referring to fashion and disease! I have ulcerative colitis so I avoid wheat for that purpose. However, DETOX diets are very fashionable at present- Carol Vorderman, Gillian McKeith etc. These diets always omit dairy and wheat. It was through doing a detox that I discovered that I feel a lot better without wheat or dairy. A lot of people find that wheat bloats them and dairy gives them mucus etc. I have many friends who have done detox diets because of the high profile it currently has, not because they have a disease.
