Land Rover Freelander 1.8GS ABS
5 Answers
I have a Freelander, & when I start the engine it does all its normal checks, but the ABS light on the dashboard stays on until I go over approx 5MPH. According to the Land Rover book it is a fault indication somewhere on the ABS system. But a very good garage has said that there are no faults on the ABS. They have said they have checked another Freelander and it does the same. I'm not normally so dubious but it being a safety issue, does anyone out there have or had the same car, & would you mind telling me what this light does when you start up the engine......... Many thanx...

I imagine this is the same sort of thing, though you would have thought Landrover would get their handbook right. Just a thought.
