Please help. On Johnathon Ross's saturday show he played a wonderful song. I need to know what it is. He didn't introduce it properly but it sounded like he said "here's Stevie Jackson". It was played approximately 2 hrs and 14 minutes into the show. You can hear it if you log on the BBC.co.uk/radio and ask to listen to Jon's show from Saturday. I would be really grateful if someone would take the time and trouble to do this and put me out of my misery.

It was good dancers by 'The sleepy Jackson' If you explore the BBC2 website pages a bit more closely you will find that they all have playlists for the previous week!

Thank you for that. I have done as you suggested and you're right. They do have playlists. I've never noticed that before. Talk about live and learn. Thanks again.
The track is available on The Sleepy Jackson's album "Lovers" - which I can heartily recommend (apart from the track Morning Bird, which is cack) :O)

I feel a visit to Amazon coming on. Are these people big - should I have heard of them? Am I getting old? Who are the Beatles?
Heh heh. Don't worry about never having heard of them - they're unlikely to trouble the chart all the while it's full of moronic tuneless dance tracks, identikit boy bands and other Flop Idol/Lame Academy types. It leaves precious little room for 'real' music. Ohmigod, hark at me. I'm turning into my dad. :O) Anyway, The Sleepy Jackson are an Australian band, based mainly around the songwriting talents of their somewhat eccentric lead vocalist, Luke Steele. I think Lovers is their first full-length release, although there is a mini-album knocking about somewhere too. The Beatles, you say? They'll never get anywhere with a name like that :O)
