London tube query

Can anyone tell me the fastest way to get from Kings Cross railway station to Waterloo tube station? Not a taxi, i want to stay underground if thats possible.I have tried googling but cannot find a map i can actually read! Thanks.

the Circle Line was invented for trips like this linking mainline stations; but in fact it's probably quicker to take the Piccadilly Line to Leicester Sq then change onto the Nothern line to Waterloo. You can print this out:

Thanks, very helpful and good map. How about walking to Euston ( I am guessing there is an underground walkway) and taking Northern line to Waterloo? Would that be any use?
There is no underground walkway from KX to Euston - however it's a one stop trip on the Northern line so is an alternative changing point.
