Driving to Gatwick Airport

I'm picking someone up from the South Terminal of gatwick airport and am printing off directions from the internet - would i be parking in the short - term car park? I know it sounds like a stupid question but i didnt know if that was for people who are only going away for a short tiem and so would cost me a lot to park there?

yes,you should park in the short stay car park,which is very close to the terminal,a stay of up to a hour will cost you about �3 to �4.try and park in section 2 or 3,its nearer the entrance to the terminal.
