Expecting a 5 month old baby to sleep through may be asking a bit much. Waking for a feed during the night is common at this stage, its just very unfortunate she is waking her big brother. I cant see that there is anything you can do really apart from waking her before she wakes to give her a feed. Hopefully she will sleep the rest of the night after this and not wake for another, waking her brother in the process. This will probably also get her into a better night time routine instead of waking at different times.
my son slept through early, she does play on it tho! what is the age a baby can go through the night without a feed?? she goes off no problem and i feed her at say 1 she goes straight back down til maybe half 7 so shes not that bad, maybe im just expecting too much as my son was so good, even crawling by 5 months.shes totally different
Like redcrx has said, no two babies are the same, so you really shouldnt be comparing your two. It sounds like your little girl is good, shes just a typical 5 month old who still needs a night feed to get her through the night.
I believe that at this age, they will only wake if they are hungry or thirsty, so only wake for a good reason. If she sleeps well after her night feed, you really are quite lucky as some babies will wake foe a couple of feeds at night, even at 5 months. I still think the key here is to get into a night routine of waking around the same time every night.
Good luck :)

awww, i hope you feel better soon. Everything always seems 100 times worse than it is when youre suffering with flu doesnt it? Add to the fact that shes at teething age and i can understand why youd like her to have been the same sleeper as her brother.
Im sure she'll settle into a better routine soon

Hi again if she is teething and abit snuffly i gave my son Medised you can use it for babies under one as well as being a painreliever it is the only medicene you can use for children under 1 year old that also has a decongestion in it as well as also a sedative - therefore relieving any stuffy noses chesty coughs easing the pain as well as the mild segative - i use it when my youngest is teething as he is always poorly and always develops chesty cough goes back on his inhalers
Good luck hope you feel better soon
