Folder views (XP)

When I open 'My Photos' I like to see it in thumbnail view but every time I close it & re-open it defaults to details view. Is it possible to keep this view without making all my folders have thumbnail view as I like most of them in list or details ? Thank you in advance from a confused Chris

In Windows Explorer, click Tools/Folder Options
Go to the View tab
Check the option "Remember each folder's view settings"
