My husband wears black shirts for work and uses lynx antiperspirant, unfortunately I can't get the white salt stains out. I've tried changing bio powders, using vanish spray and the oxiaction stuff you put in the wash and soaking them . We have tried non-white deodernat and it doesn't stop him sweating.
Any ideas please....other than divorce
Thank you

Hi amonty1144
Try soaking the affected part of the shirt with white vinegar for about 30 minutes.
Apply neat washing up liquid before washing in the washing machine. That may work.
Good luck!
Your poor hubby - he can't be too comfortable with his body producing that much sweat..... have you guys thought of trying to resolve the problem rather than deal with the effects ? There are other serious anti-perspirants around - eg Mitchum, Driclor or Linden Voss or get hubby to have a word with his GP/Doctor... The shirts can be replaced, hubby is a bit more precious!

it's not the sweat it's the salts from the antiperspirant
Just get him to stop wearing black shirts - the salt build-up is much less noticeable on white/pale-coloured shirts.
