Help Me Find A JOB!

I am 15 but turning 16 in a month or so. I have recieved my National Insurance number and I'm desperate for a job! I'm from Liverpool and just can't seem to find anywhere to work! I'm a nice girl, honest..anyone got any helpful suggestions or advice? :) x

Lucy I would advise you to just 'do the rounds' , that is , knock on doors. Dress up nice and smart (but sensible too, I am afraid. Minimal make up and jewellery). Set off up the high street (not on a busy Saturday though) and just ask.
Be very polite, explain you are legitimate and only want a few hours work. Explain that you have not worked before but if necessary your teachers can give you a reference.
You can also go through the phone book!
I'm originally from Liverpool and I found it really hard to get my first job too! J

ust do somehting a bit crap and meaningless for a while to buildup your cv and help you to lose all of your hopes and ambitions in life.
There are usually vacancies at care homes and the like, usually a bit demeaning but you can sometimes progress. Also while you don't have a job, try volunteering, maybe at a charity shop or something like that, then you'll have some experience too.
Hairdressers sometimes look for people to sweep up, clean etc.
