so where was the meteor shower last night

I live on the South Coast and sat on the beach for an hour and a half between 11 and 12 30
where was the predicted meteor shower

I did too (only I am in California at the moment) and we saw absolutely nothing!

I set the camera up and saw it as clear as anything.
(you needed a fair bit of zoom though)

LAdy P, I don't think visibility is good for it your part of the world, all the recommendations I have seen were for theUK, med or north africa.

Dave, I live in Somerset and saw nothing till 1 am, there was some heavy cloud coverage which was quite diffficult to see but I realised I coudnt see things I normally could. I also had to move into to the back garden to obscure the street lights and you had to be looking in the right direction. Now you werent looking romantically out to see were you?

Get it all right and you should be able to see it tonight.

Hiya Dave. I live in north devon,the sky was clear and I saw about 10 from 11.30 till 12:15...and we dont suffer from light pollution.But I think its all over come tuesday so try again tonight.(:O)

My dad, who lives in Herefordshire, said that he sat up to watch it from 11 to 2 and it wasn't that impressive there were a few meteors but not the whole mass he expected.

Nothing in Shropshire.
I was listening to radio five live in the early hours and people were ringing in from all around the country saying that they were seeing shooting stars galore!
Too many sherries perhaps?

Hi, me and my kids sat out from about 11pm till midnight and saw loads, we gave up for a short while due to the clouds but it soon cleared and we were happy with the amout of meteors we saw. oh i live between winchester and southampton
