Marley and Me

Has anyone read this ? Written by John Grogan,it is a fantastic read.I read it over two evenings and just wanted to recommend it as a good read.Basically it is a true story of John ,his wife and a puppy they get called Marley.If you love dogs,especially Golden Labradors you will really relate to this book !

I finished this last night and searched to se if anyone had posted on it. I loved it, I had a dog growing up who wasn't really very naughty but he was the stupidest dog ever. He never learnt to fetch, he would run after it and drop it on the way back so you had to go get it yoursels (kind of missing the point of "fetch"). I was welling up at the end remebering when we had to make that difficult decision to put him down. At the end there was a note that it was to be made into a fim to be released next year. I look forward to it.

I'm in the process of reading it just now.
I have to say it has made me both laugh and cry so far and Im only about 60 or so pages in!
I find myself relating to almost everything! The joys of having a puppy, and the not so joyful times!
I agree it is a great read adn due to your enthusiasm and how good it has been so far Iam off to finish it!
