Experian only report information that has been given to them by other companies.
Have you spoken to the companies that have reported the information to experian. If so, what have they said.
If there have been fraudulant applications made for credit using your details, then have you reported it to the police?
You can lodge a "notice of correction" on your credit file which can explain to any future lenders what has happened with your credit file by way of fraudulant applications etc etc.
But basically, if you can prove that the information recorded on your credit file is false, then it will be removed.
You cannot sue Experian for defamation as it is not them who report the information. They merely hold it. The fault lies with the lenders.
Good luck..and let us know hoe u get on.
