.wav from DVD

I've just spent a frustrating afternoon trying to download software which will extract audio from DVD movies. Every time I think I've found one, it doesn't do what it claims. Anybody know of a website where I can download (free) program to get .wav etc from DVD?

Try either http://www.digital-digest.com/dvd/ or http://www.divx-digest.com/ for suitable answers. Both are very comprehensive and offer a lot of free software for download.

If you have PowerDVD3 or better, there is an option in one of the menus to extract the audio from DVD.
