To estimate how many traveller's cheques I'll need in the U.K. how much does it cost In Glasgow - pie and a pint -toast and coffee -slap dash dinner (cloth napkins) -plain dinner -tea and a bun? In Dublin, same menu?

I'm from Dublin. Pie and pint - at least 10 euro if your lucky, �5 for pint, Dub pubs not big into Pies though, this is really a british thing. Toast and Coffee - in a small coffee shop �5, �3 for coffee,�2 for toast. Yeah, we know, Dublin is a rip-off! Slap Dash Dinner - anything from �50 to �100 per person in an average type restaurant. This could go all the way up to �250 for Gourmet meal. Depends really where you're going. - Dinner alone, say in room service in a 4 star hotel, �20-30 - TEa nad a bun, see above re Coffee and Toast.
