Original wedding gift

HELP! My sister's getting married in a few weeks and she's been really good to me lately so I want to get her something original (not necessarily crazy expensive) and thoughtful. A bit left of the field would be good (and she expects it from me so help!)

Why not ask other members of the family maybe aunts and uncles etc if they have any old pictures of you two together, maybe ones that she does not know even exist and get them framed or make a collage of them. I know it leaves the poor hubby out but you could always try the same with his family.
For my brother we had a little stained glass window made to fit in a window in his house. It was a 1930's house so he had one of those little port hole window's but you could try it with just a single pane of glass or maybe their front door? Another nice thing is a beautiful tree or shrub, roses often have names too and I know there is a white one called wedding day !!

I guessing it means something a little different than a toaster. Anyway a sundial is a relevant everlasting gift, and you can pay a variety of prices, if they have a garden or patio. You can have them engraved ( bit expensive) or get a brass plaque engraved yourself to attach We got one for a friend who was so overwhelmed with it they added the words to their vows. We put a poem by Henry Van Dyke

The words we used is part of Katrinas sundial a poem which was inscribed on a sundial in a garden a man gave to his wife as a wedding gift. I believe a different part of the poem was read at Princess Dianas funeral but changed slightly. Anyway, they are more famous than just a man and a woman in the arts world, but I'm basically giving the romantic link.
