USA Presidents Day

I am going to Florida for 2 weeks on 21st Feb 2008 and chose this date as the Walt Disney website says that Feb to early March is classed as moderate attendance and not really busy. However, I have now heard that Presidents day is in Feb and possibly on the 18th Feb next year which is the same week as we are going. Has anyone been to the theme parks this week and do you think we will be ok as we are going at the end of the week? Is Presidents week classed as that week Mon to Fri or is it likely to effect the weekend as well?

I went to Florida for 2 weeks in February about 5 years ago and Presidents day fell while we were away.

While the parks were fairly quiet most of the time it was jammed packed on Presidents day.

I cannot remember how it affected the rest of the week but dont let it put you off because generally February is a great time to go to Florida as the weather is good but the crowds are fairly low.

We had weather into the 80s while we were there.

Maybe plan a non-park day on Presidents day, but the rest of the time it will probably be fine.

thanks for your answer, we won't be there on Presidents day if it is on the Monday as we don't get there until the Thursday so hopefully it will be ok. I was just worried that the whole week including weekend would be horrendously busy and not what we wanted
