I can't even imagine that much money- but - it could be you! If you had won that much in the lottery what would you do with it?!

I would also pay the workers a decent wage.
I would probably but one of those new Rolls Royce convertibles and pay for The Beach Boys at a private do. That's it, 400K for me, the rest for the animals. I am without want.

What a boring response I made above.
You would obviously get inundated with begging letters and my wife being such a generous softy would probably give most of it away. I would therefore invest a few million in setting up a charitable trust fund. Employ a few people to run it and investigate any requests for money. Awards to be made by the trustees. With good investment, this could run forever. It would also be a workplace I could take an interest in when it suited me.
I wouldn't move, my neighbours are too good to find any better so I would content myself with an extension.
Visit all the places in the world I long to see but have little hope in doing so.

I would give most of it away. At least one third to charities I appreciate. Another third between my parents, brother and friends, and I would probably buy a 3 bed house somewhere quiet with lots of land for all the dogs I will have :)
Bank the rest, live off the interest, and when I get too old to do anything with it, give the rest away.
What could you buy? Oh I would like a holiday actually.
