in late 80s or early 90s there was a rap song which had sampled talking heads once in a lifetime can anyone help me with that title or artist at least ...........

KC Flight sampled it extensively for his track "Planet E" in 1988. I seem to remember it used the bassline and some of the lyrics. Also, it was one of the tracks used in the background of Bassheads "Is There Anybody Out There?", with a rap sampled from Afrika Bambaata over thge top. They only used the keyboard sequence though.
