No a question, but I thought some of you might be as amused as I was by this e-mail we received from Fujitsu Seimens:

"Dear Partner,

Downgrade to XP Professional then upgrade to VISTA whenever you're ready, at no extra cost! Buy a VISTA preloaded ESPRIMO Business PC today & receive a FREE Windows XP Professional recovery disk."

It is not a downgrade to go from Vista to XP.

I would consider moving from Vista to XP to be an UPGRADE !!

I upgraded my PC a few weeks back.
For a laugh (I'm easily amused) I thought I'd give Vista a go to see how it ran.
I had no problems installing it but I found it used over 900Mb of RAM before I'd even installed any software on it.

I tried the Half Life 2 - Lost Coast stress test. Under Vista I got more than 40fps less than under XP on the same hardware.

Needless to say I went back to XP pretty sharpish.
