As you know I don't care much for children, and being childless and single with middle age soon approaching I may stay that way forever.

As you also know I don't care much for youtube links anymore.

Alas, I feel this video is rather moving (in a nice fuzzy way) and if you have not seen it I wish to share.

I think it is primarily aimed at fathers with daughters, but can not doubt be enjoyed by anybody, just as I enjoyed it.

I am particularly fond of the photograph at 1min 31secs as I remember doing this with my mother when I was about 7.

Thank you Wardy - that was really nice to watch & listen to on a Monday morning. My husband likes Paul Simon too.

I have so many special images of my husband with his two 'little' daughters & apart from when they were born, a couple of the other most moving ones, were watching him walking them down aisle on their wedding days, then 'handing them over' to the new man in their life.

Having said that, they will both always be 'our' little girls at heart & we're all very close. -xx-
