They need to bring it to a conclusion soon before they start losing viewers to depressing Easties where everyone either shouts or whispers.
The script writers should just write all 3 characters out of the soap now. There's nowhere to take them forward.

I really don't get what is going on anyway, that casey is well dodgy cos of the thing she said at the birthday party, claire had a sudden rush of lucid common sense and asked her how she knew it was the baby's birthday and casey said she had told her or something, they don't waste any of the script in corrie (ha ha) and so that was meant to be a clue for us, not sure about what tho but
I think the reason that this plotline isnt too good is that it was hastily thought up. Originally Freddie was going to be kidnapped and Claire and Ashley would be doing all they could to find him, but then Madeliene was kidnapped and so the story was speedily changed.
Now, usually, I wont hear a bad word spoken about corrers but I think it is completely out of character for Ashley to be unfaithfull, and yes, I do know that it isnt real!!

Im still reeling with laughter after the hysterical Ian/Roxy/Ronnie episode and Sean wearing an apron at the jumble and Billy punching that bloke. I mean, it was funny, werent it?
Anyway, the whole Ashley thing is rather predictable I think we have less patience now for drawn out sagas, maybe because they are so predictable or just repetition from an age old storyline. Isnt it about time Smichael had a dream about getting married or summing, or maybe an alien abduction and Vernon could be experimented on?
On the other side of the Square, at times like these it seems like a good idea to throw a good old East End knees up down at the Vic to cheer everyone up.
