After a recent cut our leylandi hedge as gone brown . Is it starting to die or will it come back? Its around twenty years old.

If you have cut it back hard into old wood, it may not green up as leylandii does not break from mature wood.

The best time to trim a leylandii by my reconing is from mid may to early august.
