can you please tell me is it neccessary to re-pot pelagoniums into fresh compost when bringing in for the winter or can they remain in what they've got until the spring?

Hi, depends if they are already in pots or in the ground. All I do with my potted ones is put them in an un-heated greenhouse, cut them down and cover with garden fleece, then do them in the spring. But check out this site; www.rhs.org.uk/advice/ profiles0801/pelargonium_winter.asp It gives brilliant advice.. Good luck
