Escitalopram Tablets

Saw my doctor today and he gave me a prescription for these tablets as I have been feeling very anxious and panicky lately. Just wanted to ask has anyone taken them and did they help.
Any information would be most helpful. TY

I haven't taken them, but I used to sell them (legally, in a previous life!). They're very good (I'm not just saying that - I've got a friend who's on them & she thinks they're great). When you feel that you're better able to cope & think it's time to come off them, don't just stop taking them - go & see your GP & they'll give you advice about coming off them slowly. Good luck! K :)
