I'm not sure it's the truest word ever spoken but it's not far off it.
I always thought that if you had kids you'd want them to be better and have more potential that you ever had. Apparently I'm misguided.

Yes. In this case they obviously haven't and are repeating parrot fashion.
However, adults doing the same is more repulsive. They can make their own choices and decisions.
My grandparents are (and were) racist. Not in the yob sense but their attitudes and opinons were. My mother is not. Neither am I. You do not have to turn in to a carbon copy of the world around you.
There are too many people in this world who weren't 'hugged' enough as children and I'm tiring of the 'it's not my fault, it's my parents' blame culture. Frankly, the words, 'Grow Some' spring to mind.
