why is it that sometimes when i download a movie from limewire it downloads some of it, then can't find it, and a week later says that i havn't downloaded any of it? and i know it has because i watched what it had downloaded. how come when i search for the videos again they have disappeared?

the only reason I can think of might be if you renamed the "shared folder" or moved it somewhere else. this would prevent limewire from finding stuff your partials as it calls them

In you settings, Limewire can be set to only keep things for so long, then discard them. Best check.

Also, you have to remember that a lot of time you lose the connection, it's because the host decides to terminate using Limewire. It does tend to slow everything else up, so quite often I will exit before uploads are finished.
