On a recent holiday in Kent, I noticed in some Churchyards double headed gravestones. I was given a vague story about witches being buried in these graves, but I am not convinced. Does anyone know the history of these stones?

Yes, I agree with IAP, just someone trying to make it interesting really.

Thanks for enlightening answers. In a Pickle, that answer seems to make sense. I agree witches would not have received a decent burial. A local myth hits the dust!
