Hi there, I have a bunch of music files on my computer in MPEG4 format, the kind used by ipod. I want to burn a disk using MP3 format, but my burning program won't allow me. It seems they will need to be converted... anyone know where to look?

I think (though i may well be wrong) that MPEG4 are movie files, MP3 being audio files so not sure that they are convertable.
If you download the I-Tunes software this enables CD burning of your MPEG4s directly. And it's free!
And having re-read the question the answer is that so far I haven't found a way of doing this other than burning a CD and recopying it back with an MP3 ripper or using something like Total Recorder to record the MPEG4 whilst it is playing on the PC. Either way is tedious
