chicken tikka masala recipe
2 Answers
Hello, I am from the UK but now live in Greece. I am really missing Chicken Tikka Masala that I used to get from my local Indian Take Away in the UK. I was wondering if anybody had an authentic recipe they could share? Many thanks, Valeriea.

hope this helps, it's kind of close to what you want.

As you probably know, home cooked curry tastes nothing like a takeaway. Also authentic indian recipes wont get you want you want as they are different again.
There is no shortcut to recreating the taste, you need to immitate what the restaurants do. They use a base sauce/gravy which they add to the fried onions, garlic, spices etc so you need one too. You can freeze it in batches which helps.
The most comprehensive site i've found is below. I have just begun to unleash that smell you get when you open the paper bag with your curry in.
You have to register and then have a good read of the new members section.
