I haven't done Azed K and I am at a loss with your clue too.Sorry .

I only have the Mephisto by chance as I don't always buy the Times on a regular basis .I usually vary it ..One week Telegraph ..one week Times or another Sunday broadsheet.
This week there was a muddle up at the newsagents and although I bought the Telegraph I found when I got home with that I had some bits of the Times stuck in with it and some bits of the Telegraph were missing . !!
I'm still musing on two clues
