Newest questions

I would appreciate a way to see the newest questions posted in any category... maybe that section on the home page that says "Or answer one of these" can be expanded to 10-15 questions and have them be the most recent ones asked?

If the posters name, country and the date posted was displayed at the bottom of each question, on the home page of each category, then it would solve several problems all at once. At the moment the only way to see the poster and the date posted is to click on the question.

This would allow a very quick view of all questions posted each day, would allow people to avoid certain posters quickly and easily and the country would allow for answers to be answered more accurately.

I sent an e-mail to the AB team suggesting these ideas back in early August and haven't heard anything back yet. The country of origin would have to be voluntary has as been suggested by other users.

No problem Wraith, I think that's a fabulous suggestion too. But I think a list on the front page of newest questions would serve a bit of a different purpose... I sometimes miss interesting questions in categories I don't often visit.

True. I can see what you mean, it would be useful as I don't look in all of the categories usually. I must admit I thought the most popular threads was for that purpose, but it hasn't changed in the two months I've been here.

I was just thinking about this. I think I would love that, too. I'm used to that from the German Question site I am hanging out at, and I think I would spend more time here, if it was not so difficult to get at the questions in the first place...
