'Gaylords' are large corrugated containers placed on skids, and used to collect waste (usually recyclable) from various manufacturing processes............nowt wrong with them!

Didn't have to Gaaargle it. Worked in the plastics industry for a few years. A lot of plastic used in forming articles is called 'selvage' (not 'salvage') and is placed in gaylords to be transported to recycling plants.
