Cashed postal order OR not?

How can I find out if a postal order which was sent by recorded delivery, has been cashed. I won something on an online auction house. Seller hasn't replied to my emails. I want to find out for myself first if the orders have been cashed by said seller, before I contact the auction house directly. Any help gratefully received. ALS

Make sure you get in touch with the auction house within 30 days or they won't help you. I have been stung like that. I was too generous with someone, kept giving them extra time to post item, then found I was not 'covered' by the auction house
