colour match, paint mixing

can anyone tell me what diy places do paint colour matching?
where you take something in of any colour and they mix up a tub for you...?

please only if you know for sure that they do it, as i have looked at a few i would have thought did it and they dont

The advert showing somebody taking in an old scarf, then they mix the paint to that colour is a bit of a con. The machine only mixes to the nearest colour in the company's palette.

thats ok, carrust, as long as its close - can you remember what store was it for?
Focus and homebase round here, Surrey, do it .
Dulux Decorators centre. I think B&Q do it as well. Check the colour before you leave the shop!!
B&Q definitely do it
b & q definitely. it's very good, if a bit pricey. there are loads of colours to choose from on those little colour chart sample things, i would thoroughly recommend it.
My little local diy's does it. I know because they mixed a lovely dark pink for me.
I wouldn't bother if I were you. Unless you have a lot made up. My partner hade it done and then had to go back later for some more and the colour was totally different to the colour we hade on the walls.
