deeds to grave giving exclusive buriel rights

i have had the deeds to a grave since my son was killed in 1968 in 2002 the grave was opened without my knowledge or permission and another body deposited in there when i found out the body was quickly exhumed and buried elswhere again without my knowledge or permission. the local authority and undertaker will not apologise or accept any responsibility, can anyone help?

What i really meant to say before i dashed off an answer was Could you give us some more info about what you would like the outcome to be: you want someone to say they were responsible; you want to find out who traspasseed on your plot; you just want an apology; you want to sue someone for your losses etc etc.

bednobs thanks for the apology the answer is an unknown quantity, l know who did it, l need an apology, i think that sueing would be a good idea but local authorities have a damn sight more money than l have, two ombudsmen have been notified am waiting on a reply hope it doesn't take as long as those reponsible any thing else? james
