(unless you keep him constantly in the dark and I'm sure you wouldn't do that!) I've got several cockerels and they all crow as soon as first light hits (I once had a bantam who crowed at midnight!). As someone said, "You can't sneak the dawn past a cockerel!" You'll get used to it! K xx
