Digital Camera/Web Camera From Old PC
Bit of a long shot here guys hope someone can help.
In 2000 I bought my first PC from Tiny, the package came with a digital camera/web camera. The camera was already installed when I got the pc so I didn't get any software for the camera. I'm now using XP. The camera has no name whatsoever on the front of it but still works fine. I plugged the camera into this pc but it could not find any hardware for it. Which to be honest I was expecting. Was just wondering if there is anywhere online that I could find the software, as I said the camera has no name on it. I will take a picture of the camera and post it, if anyone has or has had the same camera, I'd be most grateful for any help.
TY

if you put that disk in, dont run it, but open explorer and check the files for something that might appear to be related to a camera. sometimes its blatently obvious, sometimes, you have to search around. it might even be a setup file.
or...last resort! desperate measures and all that! take out the batteries, and look for a label, something very small, in stupidly small print. sometimes, these digi cams do have names hidden in wierd places. mine, is hidden underneath the memory card compartment, without looking, you wouldnt know it!
or of course, you could just go to a random shop and ask soemone, ya never know!
im surprised it doesnt work though...is it usb? this is all i could think of, im guessing you might have solved the problem, this was posted ages ago, but ya never know, it might help someone else one day!
