I have two 4 month old kittens and have recently lost a member of my family and had to travel alot, i had no choice in taken my kittens with me. The first couple of times were bearable but the last journey home was horrific they didn't stop crying and one wet himself!
Once i get there they are happy as always.
Since owning them i have familerised them with there carrier they used to sleep in it, I just don't know why they are like this i have tried to make them as comfy as possible. Is there anything else i can do? I don't like the thought of putting them in a cattery when i go away.

They may get used to it, I suppose they still feel a bit unsure whats happening. I don't know if it will help but we did this with a dog we had years ago.

Put something familiar (unwashed) of your in with them i.e. a t-shirt you don't mind getting ruined. they may feel more secure.

Good luck x
It may be that they are experiencing motion sickness. The best place to travel them is in the passenger footwell near to the gear stick, as this is where the vibration is least noticeable. Other than that make sure the carrier is covered so they cannot see out. You can get travel sickness pills for animals, but I have never used them so don't know if they work.
